Double low rapeseed refers to rapeseed varieties where the content of erucic acid is low. The main fatty acids in rapeseed oil include oleic acid, linoleic acid, and palmitic acids. With an oleic acid content of 60%, double low rapeseed oil is known as one of the healthiest edible oils. It is rich in vitamin E, contains no cholesterol, and has one of the lowest saturated fat content of known vegetable oils. The oil is clear and transparent and can be heated without lampblack, foam, and precipitation. It is not greasy to consume and is healthy and safe cooking oil.
